During eleven years in healthcare and academic design at Ballinger, I successfully managed complex initiatives—inception through completion—and created ongoing upkeep systems for owner’s staff and contractors.
Wayfinding and Environmental Graphics:
Team building; guiding medical center teams through transition planning,
Negotiating with vendors,
Developing proposals, schedules, budgets, comparisons, product analyses and bids,
…all focused on meeting timelines, producing the highest quality deliverables, and maintaining client and teammate trust. Having managed design phases for numerous campus-wide initiatives, I’ve often had the primary leadership responsibility for the client relationship and the project’s success.
Programming and Specifications:
Ensuring early evaluation to establish design, scope, and process
Making certain that functional requirements and needs are voiced, understood, documented, and met.
I’ve supported project teams as a programmer, planner and specifier— facilitating workshops and detailed evaluations.
